The following organizations offer open enrollment classes in subjects frequently in demand by our members and other site users. Inquire directly with the organization listed for additional details. NESHTA Member Organizations

Aarcher Institute of Environmental Training. A wide variety of basic and compliance workshops, including stormwater management, offered at locations nationwide.

California Specialized Training Institute (CSTI), a part of the State of California Office of Emergency Services, offers a variety of emergency management and Hazmat training classes for the public and private organizations, including HazMat for Hospital Operations and Decontamination, First Responder Terrorism, HazMat Technician, First Responder Operations and other courses. A majority of the Hazmat classes are ODP approved and POST certified.

Casper College, Environmental Training Center, Casper, Wyoming, provides a full spectrum of water quality education, operator training, and continuing education courses.

HAZMATEAM, Inc. offers a variety of  training OSHA, DOE, RCRA, ICAO, IATA, IMDG, Terrorism and Chemistry courses at their  Hudson, New Hampshire, Woburn, Massachusetts and Providence, Rhode Island training facilities.

Georgia Tech OSHA Training Institute Education Center, has an extensive catalog of OSHA training programs and safety and health specialty certificate programs. The Center also offers NESHTA's Designing and Delivering Effective Training Workshop twice each year in June and October.

Lion Technology, Inc., offers courses in DOT hazmat transportation and EPA regulations.

The New England Consortium (TNEC) is the New England regionís model worker health and safety training organization, operated by the University of Massachusetts, Lowell. Since, 1987 TNEC has provided dynamic hands-on, participatory health and safety training. With simulated work tasks and mock incidents, students gain a better understanding of work site hazards and how to properly respond in an emergency situation. In addition to the open enrollment curricula, TNEC is able to custom design trainings to address the needs of hazardous materials specific to a clientís work site.

New England Water Works Association (NEWWA) serves New England states and other states in the region with training in drinking water treatment, distribution operations, water system management, backflow device inspector certification, cross connection survey certification, and various safety related training classes.

OCT Academy, McClellan Park, CA offers a variety of water and wastewater operator classes, including approved anti-terrorism training and education for water utility personnel.

Southeast Alaska Petroleum Resource Organization (SEAPRO), Ketchican, Alaska. Regional spill response and related training in Southeastern Alaska.

ETC Compliance Solutions, offers a wide variety of courses in Arizona, including National Traffic Safety Institute SAFER Driver courses and IATA courses.

Global Collaboration Partners LLC. Environmental, Health, Safety, and HR compliance online training content provider. Free training programs at available through the Free Training Club.

National Center for Employee Development, Norman, OK, is a national technology training and conferencing center for the U.S. Postal Service. The self-contained, living-and-learning Center also offers training and conference services to other agencies and business groups.

Petroleum Institute for Continuing Education (PEICE) offers an extensive calendar of seminars and short-courses for the petroleum industry. Training offered in Calgary, Houston and London.

PrimaTech, Inc. offers a variety of technical courses at major cities around the US.

The Radiochemistry Society, Richland, Washington. Offers extensive menu of courses for radiation safety and protection specialists.

Southwest Safety Training Alliance, Inc., Phoenix, Arizona. An alliance of industry and training providers.

Texas Engineering Extension Service Professional and Regulatory Training Center (Texas A&M University). OSHA Training Institute Southwest Training Center.

University of California, Davis, Extension ES&H Courses

University of California, Los Angeles, Education and Research Center.

University of California, San Diego, OSHA Region IX Education Center (OSHA Training Institute). Classes throughout the Southwest and the Pacific.

University of Texas Petroleum Extension Service. Petroleum industry training offered at the Houston Training Center, 800-687-7052 or 281-443-7144. Free practices exams for wastewater and water treatment operator certification.
