Aarcher
Institute of Environmental Training.
A wide variety of basic and compliance workshops,
including stormwater management, offered at locations
nationwide.
California Specialized Training Institute (CSTI),
a part of the State of California Office of Emergency Services, offers a
variety of emergency management and Hazmat training classes for the public and
private organizations, including HazMat for Hospital Operations and
Decontamination, First Responder Terrorism, HazMat Technician, First Responder
Operations and other courses. A majority of the Hazmat classes are ODP approved
and POST certified.
Casper College, Environmental Training Center,
Casper, Wyoming, provides a full spectrum of water quality
education, operator training, and continuing education
courses.
HAZMATEAM, Inc. offers a variety of training OSHA, DOE, RCRA, ICAO, IATA, IMDG, Terrorism and Chemistry courses at their Hudson,
New Hampshire, Woburn, Massachusetts and Providence, Rhode Island training facilities.
Georgia
Tech OSHA Training Institute Education Center,
has an extensive catalog of OSHA training programs and
safety and health specialty certificate programs. The
Center also offers NESHTA's Designing and Delivering Effective Training
Workshop twice each year in June and October.
Lion Technology, Inc., offers courses in DOT hazmat transportation and EPA
regulations.
The New England
Consortium (TNEC) is the New England
region’s model worker health and safety training
organization, operated by the University of
Massachusetts, Lowell. Since, 1987 TNEC has provided dynamic
hands-on, participatory health and safety training. With
simulated work tasks and mock incidents, students gain a
better understanding of work site hazards and how to
properly respond in an emergency situation. In addition
to the open enrollment curricula, TNEC is able to custom
design trainings to address the needs of hazardous
materials specific to a client’s work site.
New England Water
Works Association (NEWWA) serves New England
states and other states in the region with training in drinking water
treatment, distribution operations, water system
management, backflow device inspector certification,
cross connection survey certification, and various
safety related training classes.
OCT
Academy, McClellan Park, CA offers a variety of water and wastewater
operator classes, including approved anti-terrorism training and education for
water utility personnel.
Southeast Alaska Petroleum Resource
Organization (SEAPRO), Ketchican, Alaska. Regional spill response and
related training in Southeastern Alaska.
