Other Specialty Areas

The CET Board of Certification will consider recognizing other voluntary certifications in specialty areas for which the board does not, itself, maintain an examination. Generally, any certification in a related area that is accredited by the Council of Engineering and Scientific Specialty Boards (CESB), the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) are candidates for recognition.

Certifications not accredited by one of the above organizations will be considered, if the program's minimum requirements are as rigid as those required by the above certifying agencies. To propose a certification for recognition, please send information on the program, including how and where the board can locate detailed information on the certification program and its sponsoring organization, to:
